Learning As I Go & Dealing w/ Delays

I am still working on things. But, as I am the only one working on EVERYTHING, it has meant that things are sometimes slower than I'd like / expect. I am learning a lot though, and so with each iteration, it does get easier.

I have purchased a few assets, but those I have not, I have to make myself. I am not an artist (and can't afford to hire one), so sometimes just adding a new character can take a couple of hours. I have been using AI for some visuals, but even that has been very hit-or-miss in results, though admittedly I have been getting better at getting it to generate the style I would like to see.

Same with sounds. I sit for a long while, just listening to sounds and music to ensure they fit the project. Hunting down something specific can take me days sometimes.

When I find myself blocked on one project I'll tinker with another shorter one for a couple of days and then try again, it usually helps. But it does slow things down (not that I'd get anything done staring at the screen while brain-blocked anyway).

To keep the lights on, I work two jobs currently.  The first is my friends and I trying to start an organic farm, which is a LOT of work but I enjoy it even if I am not making a profit off it. The other is cleaning houses for the elderly, which pays nicely and also something I honestly enjoy.  But, especially during the growing season, it leaves me with less time to work on games.

I am trying to juggle my schedule, and I have learned a lot, so I will keep updating regularly but don't expect any hard deadlines out of me unless the project is doing well enough to warrant it. I appreciate your patience.
